A recent study from PruHealth revealed that thirty percent of population want people to pay themselves for sel-inflicted medical issues. As the NHS comes under ever increasing pressure and struggles to cope with the volume of cases caused by self-inflicted behavior such as alcohol abuse and obesity.
The view of PruHealth research is that the quality of service the NHS provides is set worsen and as the NHS is paid for by taxes the burden of irresponsibility should go back to those that self-inflict medical conditions.
Another online poll conducted by PruHealth also revealed the age at which health worries kick in, they revealed it was age 39 that people started to worry about health issues. Many of the respondent said that time pressure was one of the factors stopping them living a healthy life.
